ME AS A GEORGIAN COLONIALST

February 24, 1740
Dear family,
I have decided to move to Georgia because I love to harvest vegetables and I want to live in the countryside. Also, I had a debt back in England and I didn't know what to do, but then I found out if I went to Georgia I could be free.

The two other colonies I don’t like so much because New England
Colonies do whaling and other gross jobs. The middle colonies are nice but they have too many trees!

I like long fields and living by the ocean too. It looks pretty here.

I wish you could see this because there are flowers blooming and my house looks neat!

King Philip Decides on War

KING PHILIP


Hello. Today I am going to talk about KING PHILIP's war, which took place from 1675 to 1676 in Southern New England. King Philip was the leader of the Wampanoag tribe. He fought the English settlers because he thought they killed his brother.

Did you know that the Native Americans find signs in nature.Thats cool. King Philip saw a lunar eclipse as a sign that his tribe should go to war against the settlers.

One thing that supprised me was the Native Americans and the settlers where helping each other at first.

One thing I thought about was the war. Life was good untill then, the war.People and children where killed and Native A mericans where killed as well.

What do you know about Kind Philip?

P.S this isnt my idea but just some school work my mom told me to write.

This is me and katie last year on my birthday!
Today i learned about the island called Roanoke. Its a very intresting story! the mystery is know oe knows where the first settlers went. but the most commen explanation would be there was a bad storm.
